Invited by a friend?

Tap the invitation link. If it opens in your browser, choose “Open in From a Friend”. If your messaging app blocks this, open the link in Safari or Chrome, then try again. You can also paste the invitation into “Have an invite?” in the app.

Use the download link on your invitation when available. While From a Friend is in private testing, ask your friend for access to the app.

After installation, return to the original message and tap the invitation again. Sign in or create your account, then choose whether to join the group. Installing alone does not join you.

Invitations expire after seven days. They may also be revoked or paused by the group. Ask your friend for a new invitation, or to check whether joining is paused.

The app opens the group’s places. It won’t create a second membership or change your permissions.

Open the invitation’s “Opening this on another device?” section and scan its QR code with your phone, or open the original message on your phone.

No. You choose which reviews to share. Opening a link does not join you automatically, and joining does not reshare your private reviews.
